PCQC Launches Annual Program Surveys and the Program Profile

March 2021:

The Palliative Care Quality Collaborative (PCQC) is proud to announce the launch of the Annual Program Surveys through the PCQC Registry. Previously hosted within the National Palliative Care Registry™ (a former project of CAPC and NPCRC), the PCQC Registry’s Annual Program Surveys collect information about your palliative care program’s structures and processes.

Historical users of the National Palliative Care Registry™ can begin entering data on March 29, 2021. An email was sent to all historical users about how to activate their new account in the PCQC Registry.

If your palliative care program did not previously enter data into the National Palliative Care Registry™, you will have access to the PCQC Registry in mid-April 2021.

For Historical Users:

We have worked hard to move your historical data from the National Palliative Care Registry and Mapping Community Palliative Care to the PCQC Registry. From now on, all users will be able access their programs, surveys, sites of care, as well as, maintain their listing on CAPC’s Provider Directory on GetPalliativeCare.org through the PCQC Registry.

Participation in Basic or Advanced Membership is free for all palliative care programs across the continuum of care. We welcome you to begin entering your 2020 annual program surveys!

What can Basic and Advanced Members do in the PCQC Registry?

  • Review and update your Program Profile information, including your program’s contact information and the settings and sites that you serve. This information will update your listing on the GetPalliativeCare.org website. Any updates will be reflected on the program directory within 24 hours.
  • Enter your 2020 Annual Program Surveys. We encourage programs to submit 2020 surveys by July 15, 2021.
  • View or edit previously entered annual surveys from the National Palliative Care Registry™.
  • Invite other members of your team to the Registry, by using the “invite a colleague” button on the left-side navigation.
  • Annual reports, including those with peer comparisons, will be coming soon.

What if I need help?

We recognize that this is a new system for everyone, and might take some time before we all feel comfortable. We have put together a few resources to help you.

PCQC will also host two office hours to help answer questions about the annual program survey participation. You must register in advance for the office hours.

We want to thank you for your patience as we launched the new PCQC Registry.

We look forward to your continued participation and working with you as members of PCQC!
