In partnership with the American Cancer Society (ACS), PCQC is excited to share an opportunity for palliative care programs to receive one-year of PCQC membership called the Cancer and Health Equity Support Sponsorship Program.

The purpose of the program is to provide support to palliative care teams who provide care for patients living with cancer and whose patient populations are facing disparities in care. Participation in this program will allow palliative care program leaders to report on quality measures and learn best practices in providing high-quality care through PCQC membership. This opportunity is open to all palliative care teams, and we would like to extend an invitation to your program to learn more. Below, you will find a brief overview of the program.

Participants in this sponsorship program will have support for one-year of PCQC Premium membership access provided by ACS and will receive the following benefits:

  • Access to clinical data entry through manual data entry or electronic health record submission
  • Access to programmatic data submission
  • Access to clinical and programmatic measure reports
  • Access to PCQC data benchmarks
  • Access to monthly virtual collaborative webinars to discuss best practices in quality-based palliative care
  • Access to PCQC Quality in Equity virtual discussion forums
  • Access to end of year virtual discovery session with PCQC and ACS leadership.

If you are interested in participating, we are hosting an informational webinar on February 22, 2024 at 1pm ET. To sign up, please click here. If you are unable to attend, please contact our Member Services team at info@palliativequality.org and they will send information regarding next steps and a brief application to be considered for the sponsorship program following the webinar.

We would like to thank ACS for its ongoing support of high-quality palliative care for all patients and their loved ones. We are excited about this opportunity for palliative care programs to participate in immersive data collection with a focus on disparities in populations of patients living with cancer.

We hope you consider joining the informational session to learn more about this opportunity.
